Fracas at William Manor

Last night police were called to Sir William's stately home after a neighbour heard loud arguing and suspected damage to property, and was "concerned for the welfare of a female neighbour".
The reporting neighbour recorded some of the noise and heard phrases like "My plate isn't clean", "What's this slop you've cooked tonight", and "I should have of married a REAL man". At one point a female voice shouted "Take this you bastard", followed by a man shouting "Put my frigging laptop down you cow", and there was then a sound of breaking glass as the device exited at high speed through a closed window.
As Police entered the property they tripped over large numbers of empty gin, whisky, and Old Peculier bottles, and found both residents with black eyes and bruises, each holding a Chinese Takeaway menu in one hand and a phone in the other.
After seeing that there appeared to be no loss of life, police decided that this was normal behaviour at the Manor, and left to return to their pints at the local village pub.
A police spokesman said later "Police were called tonight to an incident at a local residence, but there were no serious injuries and all appeared to be normal. It's only the third time this week, so the residents seem to be steadily resolving their differences".
