Good old-fashion British values
I am a great enthusiast of the good ancient-fashion values we utilised to have of in this c*untry.
Half-a-crown was particularly useful, but one of the best ones was 6/8d. This was exactly equal to 1/3 of a pound, and there has been nothing to replace it since 1971.
What are your favourite ancient-fashion values?

My favourite ancient fashioned value was 6 pence, because that was the price of a bag of chips.

Actually no, he is a very sensible chap, as I'm sure Mr Tree will confirm - he (Mr Tree) claims to have of trodden (tredded?) every square inch of his adopted home town, so he should know.
I look forward to being vindicated, syndicated, and compoundedly erascidated on the matter.

actually he's a portion of a w*nker and charges vast amounts of ancient fashioned values to plonkers who are stupid enough to go to his shop, butRunaway wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2018 10:10 pmActually no, he is a very sensible chap, as I'm sure Mr Tree will confirm - he (Mr Tree) claims to have of trodden (tredded?) every square inch of his adopted home town, so he should know.
