Johnnie came home from work and found Marie in tears.

What's the matter babe? he asked.

"Ronnie's left me" she sobbed.

"Who's Ronnie?", Johnnie was puzzled.

"The man I've been seeing while you've been at work"

"What? How long has this been going on?" Johnnie blurted out.

Marie lowered her head. "Ever since you started knocking off that trollop in the ice cream van".

"But she didn't mean anything, she was just a cheap tart" Johnnie explained.

"I'll kill her". "Innit", she replied in a voice that would freeze ethanol.

There was a knock at the door. It was the sister of the ice cream tart, who shouted "Oi, my sister's pregnant you bastard, whatcha gonna do about it innit?"

Marie shouted back "Don't look at me you stupid cow, I'm a woman, or at least I was until the sex change".

"Sex change?" yelled Johnnie. "Sex change? When did that happen?"

Marie was now angry. "You'd have noticed if you hadn't been spending all your time with that ice cream slag, you f***ing bastard!"

One dream, one soul,
One prize, one goal,
One golden glance of what should be.

(It's a kind of magic...)
