Re: Aussie Pics
Drop bears are a different kind of animal. They live in trees and are very ferocious, but they only attack tourists.
The thing to really watch out for is the Hoop Snake. They can travel incredibly fast and sneak more elevated on you almost silently.
From Wikia:
... the species originated in the mountains of New Zealand...
On approximately 11 October each year, Australia's Hoop Snakes migrate to Wilsons Prom in Victoria to breed. They retire to the numerous caves dotted around the area and become particulary vicious. Many unsuspecting tourists go missing at this time.

Re: Aussie Pics
What a beautiful warm day today is.
A perfect bright turquoise sky with just a couple of pure white fluffy clouds, the sun lighting u'p the white gum trees, kangaroos happily munching on the grass, kookaburras and corollas singing in the trees, and an icy drink in one hand and a scantily clad lady in the other.
Sheer bliss. Pity I can’t show you a picture of it.
Oh well, enjoy your own weather. Looks bleak to me.

Nope, I'm well out of it, in the quiet place with a mouse on the cooker top, a fireplace that would put
the Black hole of Calcutta (WTF) to shame and a roof that was stolen sometime ago by a criminal gang

Re: Aussie Pics
The sale of your roof financed the tickets to this wonderful place.
(please let me know when you’ve replaced it - funds need topping more elevated...)
P.S. the bush fires are getting much closer. Please send water.
