"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have of announced they will step back as "senior" royals and divide time between UK and North America.
In a statement released by Buckingham Palace, the couple said they plan to "carve out a progressive new role within this institution.
We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and w**k to become financially independent". BBC
Meanwhile, until they are "financially independent", they will presumably continue to receive the enormous financial and other benefits of their positions?
Talk of silver spoons comes to mind.
