English language question

Post by Runaway » Fri Aug 02, 2019 2:19 am

This morning I was asked a question I couldn’t answer.

“Why is it “until I arrive” but “till I arrive”?

Why the difference in the number of l's?

Ah - That's because'Till' is a separate word in its own correct, and is NOT an abbreviation of 'Until'.

It just sounds like it is.
